Hi, i am Lars My photographic roots are in beauty and fashion photography. But my heart has always been in storytelling wedding photography. I love those special moments and the feelings between bride and groom. I do not just shoot a wedding - I try to capture creative and meaningful wedding photos that bring bridal couples back to their emotions of their wedding day, even years later. I do not just photographically determine what it looks like, but what it feels like. Cologne in Germany is my home base, but I'm traveling all over the world to tell wedding stories. I would like to be with you and be your wedding photographer wherever you choose to celebrate your celebration!
I'm honest; I was a bit scared if the groom had been given a few glasses of beer when he was about to be thrown up. But it went well again. Everything stays inside.
The Getting Ready is one of my favorite wedding reportage moments. The tension and at the same time exuberance always produce beautiful photos. My brides often tell me afterwards that these photos are among their favorite photos. The Getting Ready also offers the opportunity to stage little things - like here the bridal shoes by Jimmy Choo.
You don't always have the best weather when shooting a wedding... And that's a good thing. Only if it is not perfect, a photo becomes a special photo.
You must know that you are terrified of spiders. Although these animals have an insane fascination for me. And so I misused the incredible carrying power of the spider web under "risk of my life" for this photo.
I always like to use minimalist architecture to stage a bridal couple, the groom or bride. The goal is to focus on the essentials. This picture was taken in Morocco with its typical houses in Moorish style.
This picture was taken in the vineyards near Mainz in Germany. A few moments later the sun disappeared behind the mountains but the scenery had to be captured with the drone.
Does a wedding always have to be bitterly serious? Definitely not. Even though this wedding was very emotional, jokes were allowed.
In Cologne, Germany, the Hohenzollern Bridge crosses the Rhine. Thousands of love locks hang from the railing. This bridal couple has also immortalized themselves there with a castle. I was able to capture the quiet moment afterwards.
It doesn't always have to be a bridal car. The modern bridal couple also likes to take the way to the registry office into their own hands.
Bride and groom both work in the basketball business. She, responsible for personnel selection, got his application on the table and..... refused. However, when her boss advocated a job interview, the later groom convinced - not only in the job, but also the bride. Stories that life writes - what could be more obvious than a shoot on the basketball court.
