Through my photographs, I can speak in a more intrinsic and profound way than through words. Photography is the art of observation. The world around us asks to be expressed and does not go unnoticed by my eyes. It’s about being present and conscious, and observing the truth found in every breath that inhabits it. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place and giving it a unique and subjective meaning—your own way of seeing. I’ve realized that it has little to do with the things you see and much to do with how you see things. Photography is a struggle, it’s love, it’s beauty, it’s life. The enemy is time, and you win when you manage to freeze it at the right moment, preventing something that speaks of you and what is happening from dying and disappearing forever.
